Clay Copeland

As the VP of Operations I oversee and optimize the company’s day-to-day operations. I ensure that business activities are running smoothly and efficiently, aligning operational strategies with overall company goals, and driving continuous improvements across different departments.

I have been in the site service industry indirectly since I was 5 years old, getting off the school bus at our facility in the late 90’s. I have worked fulltime for A-1 Little John since I graduated from college in 2016, starting from the ground up and learned every role the company has to offer including service, driving, delivery, customer service, and management.
I bring a unique aspect to the team of being one of the only team members that has been in every role in the company. It really allows me to look at every situation from the employee’s point of view as well as the supervisor’s point of you; to make the best decisions possible on any issue. Being family-owned we always want to lead and help our employees and customers as much as possible in every venture.

I have led many large job site projects, including the Bois D’Ark lake project, many large commercial construction projections, the multi billion dollar Texas Instruments and Globalwafer Expansions. The Construction Industry is a complex breathing creature of its own and that is what I have always enjoyed about it. Building new infrastructure, homes, hotels, factories, bridges, or any of the other thousands of projects in the US is what moves the country forward. Being an integral part of the big picture is what drives me daily.

I am an avid bowhunter and have been since the age of 13. The art and the chase of hunting big whitetail bucks is what I live to do when time allows. I see the outdoors and wildlife as God’s greatest creation. I am incredibly passionate about big commercial projects. I enjoy the challenge that a big project brings to the table. Problem solving and offering our great service in a way most companies have never seen. We are a one stop shop for construction site services.
